Optimising video creation and distribution workflows with Rizzle.

Context
Rizzle AI is a media creation and distribution platform, to generate short-form content from long-form videos in a matter of minutes. The app transcribes videos and clubs parts of the transcript, ready to create short-form content (Teasers, Highlights, Shorts, Clips).

Project brief
We saw a behaviour within our internal team, where creators in the team would abandon a session after a video was created, and revisit the app in a new session on a different video's transcript.
Upon observing their workflow, we saw that they were using Excel and Slack threads to maintain schedule of video generation and distribution.
What we did
To ensure that we were effectively able to improve the team's efficiency, we decided to incorporate a scheduling system for generation and sharing videos across different social media platforms via the Rizzle app.
Each and every short form video could independently be added to a calendar, linking it to the respective transcripts in a click.
Schedule a video generation
Select the video to be scheduled, pick the date and time…and that's it! The video has been scheduled for generation.
Now, our team could schedule their videos for generation within the app. With this, we could ensure that teams would not need to use other tools and we could achieve higher efficiency.
Schedule a video for upload
After a video is generated, they can also be added to the calendar to be shared on specific social media platforms at specific times.
With the limitation that every social media platform has their unique specifications and settings to upload content, we allowed users to only upload one video to one platform at a time.
We created this feature as a part of the project to ensure that users did not have to manually upload videos at odd times or forget uploading videos due to work load.
